Program Description/Employment Options For Graduates:

The Bachelor of Applied Science in International Business and Trade (IBT) program provides students in Manatee and Sarasota counties with the knowledge, skills and experience necessary for successful careers leading, supervising, and managing in a global business environment.

Admission Requirements:

Admission to the Bachelor of Applied Sciences in International Business and Trade will include:

  • A 2.0 GPA on a scale of 4.0
  • Completion of 45 semester hours. Included in this must be ENC 1101 and MAT 1033 (or a course at that same or higher level).
  • Successful completion of at least 50 percent of the prerequisite courses (with a grade of C or better).

A separate program APPLICATION must be submitted to the program director.

  • ACG 2071 Managerial Accounting - 3 credit hours
  • CGS 1000 Computer Applications - 3 credit hours
  • ECO 2013 Principles of Macroeconomics - 3 credit hours
  • ECO 2023 Principles of Microeconomics - 3 credit hours
  • MAC 2233 Applied Calculus I - 3 credit hours
  • STA 2023 Elementary Statistics - 3 credit hours
