Course Description
(3) A.S. Three hours lecture/laboratory per week. This course meets Area V of the A.A. /A.A.S. / A.S. general education requirements. This course will explore the possibility of extraterrestrial life through scientific comparisons of life forms and ecosystems here on Earth and in outer space. Past and current discoveries, including ongoing research, in planetary science, astronomy, and the origin of life will be discussed.
