NOTE: Some schools listed offer various programs for CNA. We will only accept the programs that are a minimum of 120 hours.
Please note: students offered a seat in the Spring 2013 Basic Nursing Program must obtain CNA Certification by Nov. 1, 2012

The Nursing Program is specifically designed for the student with no prior medical background. Upon successful completion of the program, the graduate is eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) to become licensed as a registered nurse.
A cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better in the following prerequisite courses and successful completion of the Nurse Entrance Exam are required to make an application to the Nursing Program:

Continue to take the additional general academic requirements for the Nursing program. Admission priority is given to qualified program applicants who have completed all program entrance requirements (prerequisites), the most general academic requirements, and have achieved the highest cumulative and overall GPA in these classes. Testing results may also be used in the admission process.
