SCF Music Faculty Felicia Brunelle Presents Violin Concert

(Bradenton, Fla., March 30, 2010) – Dr. Felicia Brunelle, State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) music instructor, will present a violin concert at 8 p.m., Thursday, April 8, in Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West.

She will be accompanied by pianist Cheryl Tschanz from Florida Southern College and cellist Alfred Gratta from the Florida Orchestra in a concert featuring a variety of works by Hungarian composer Bela Bartok, African composer Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, Czech nationalistic composer Antonin Dvorak and Austrian composer Franz Schubert.

Brunelle is a member of the first violin section of the Sarasota Orchestra and concertmaster for the Missouri Symphony. She earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
