SCF to Offer New iPhone and iPad Application Course

(Bradenton, Fla., May 6, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Workforce Solutions will offer a new iPhone and iPad Application Development course at 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturdays, June 5 – 26, at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy E., Sarasota.

Designed for those with a basic understanding of iPhone interface and ability to navigate within the MAC Operating System, the course features the basic Objective-C and the Cocoa Touch framework.

Lunch will be sponsored by Voalte, a local healthcare company that markets iPhone applications. Rob Campbell, CEO of Voalte, will present to the class during one session.

SCF is the first state college in the region to offer an iPhone and iPad Application Development course.

The cost is $249.
