SCF Bradenton Business Club Excels at State Conference

(Bradenton, Fla., May 19, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Bradenton Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) business club members were recognized by the SCF District Board of Trustees at the May meeting for competing at the 2010 State Leadership Conference held in Tampa on March 18-20.

Winners were Tony Perez, fifth place, marketing concepts; Michael Mol, third place, project management; and Jeremy Ruff, third place, contemporary sport issues.

PBL winners who have won first through third place awards, their advisers and state officers have been invited to attend training workshops in May to prepare for the PBL National Leadership Conference in Nashville, Tenn., on July 9 -12.

Amy Santos, instructor, business and technology, is the PBL Bradenton adviser.
