Studio 84 Productions Presents "Funny as a Crutch"

(Bradenton, Fla., June 14, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Studio 84 Productions will present “Funny as a Crutch” at 8 p.m., Friday - Saturday, June 18-19, and 2 p.m., Sunday, June 20, in the David S. & Anne V. Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 11West.

The production, comprised of ten short plays of humorously skewed stereotypes about disabilities, includes an unlikely story of the first settlers at Plymouth Rock and a fractured fairy tale of Cinderella.

Written by Rich Orloff, the sketches are directed by Dean Anthony, Kenneth Erickson Jr. and James Thaggard. Cast members include Olivia Abbacchi, Giovonnii Austin, Jeff Beghtel, Mary Bellows, Adam Condor, Nicole Cunningham, Nicholas DeLisi, Tim Lim, Janet Raines, Kristina Ruth, Edson Seide and Katelyn Studer.
