SCF Bradenton ARC Surpasses 10,000 Tutoring Sessions in Spring Term
(Bradenton, Fla., June 28, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Bradenton academic resource center (ARC) held more than 10,000 tutoring sessions in Spring 2010, surpassing its previous record of 8,900 in Fall 2009.
SCF’s ARC serves students by providing high-quality academic support programs through tutors and workshops in subject areas such as math, study skills, reading and writing.
“We are looking forward to assisting more students in the fall and surpassing our latest record,” said Jaquelyn McNeil, ARC director. “Our overarching goal remains to advance SCF’s mission by helping students maximize their academic potential.”
