Course Registration Continues for Fall Term
(Bradenton, Fla., Aug. 23, 2010) - The period to make changes to class schedules for Fall term 2010 at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will continue through 11:59 p.m., Saturday, Aug 28.
Day and evening classes are held at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West; SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail; SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East; and at several off-site locations. Convenient online classes are also offered through SCF’s eCampus. Online classes have mandatory orientation dates.
SCF offers an Associate in Arts degree and some Associate in Science degrees for students who intend to transfer to university programs or continue at SCF in select baccalaureate programs. SCF also offers more than 20 Associate in Applied Science degrees that prepare students to enter the workforce immediately upon graduation. In addition, SCF’s new Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree program began Spring 2010 and more baccalaureate programs will start in 2011.
During the month of August, student services office hours at SCF Bradenton and SCF Venice are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday -Thursday and 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
