SCF Fine Art Gallery to Feature "Behemoth" by Tony Biladeau

(Bradenton, Fla., Sept. 1, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Fine Art Gallery will display work by artist Tony Biladeau from Friday, Sept. 3 – Friday, Oct. 1. A closing reception to celebrate his work will be held at 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 1, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 11 North. The reception is free and open to the public.

The exhibit, “Behemoth,” features monumental paintings and prints. Many of Biladeau’s works, which include a floral theme, are inspired by his background in the flower industry and his appreciation for nature.

Biladeau has worked as a substitute teacher in Sarasota and Manatee counties schools and as an adjunct art instructor at SCF and Indian River State College. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1977 and a Master of Fine Arts degree in 1986 from the University of Massachusetts.
