Studio 84 Productions Presents "Wonder of the World"

(Bradenton, Fla., September 14, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Studio 84 Productions will present “Wonder of the World” at 8 p.m., Friday - Saturday, Oct. 1 - 2, and Thursday - Saturday, Oct. 7 - 9, in the David S. & Anne W. Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 11 West. Two matinee performances are scheduled at 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 3, and Oct. 10.

Written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright David Lindsay-Abaire, the comedy follows Cass, who flees to Niagara Falls after learning a shocking secret about her husband of seven years. When she arrives at Niagara Falls, the honeymoon capital of the world, she crosses paths with a suicidal alcoholic, a lonely tour boat captain and a pair of bickering private detectives, all of whom push her perilously close to the waterfall's edge of insanity and self-discovery.

The comedy is directed by Dean Anthony. Olivia Abbacchi will play the leading role of Cass. Other cast members are Nicholas DeLisi, Sally Fint, Janet Raines, Megan Sicks, Jeff Beghtel, Zach Burkholder, Austin Peed and Rebecca Moore.
