Information Sessions Scheduled for RN to B.S.N. Program at SCF
(Bradenton, Fla., September 21, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer information sessions for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program.
Students eligible for the RN to B.S.N. program must have completed prerequisite courses and have or obtain a Florida registered nurse license.
Designed to allow registered nurses to complete their bachelor's degree locally in 15 months, the program couples experience with advanced nursing education, preparing students for roles in leadership, management, and community and public health.
Hour-long information sessions are scheduled at the following three campuses:
• 9:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 8; Saturday, Nov. 6; Saturday, Nov. 20; and 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 9, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 29, room 106.
• 1 p.m., Friday, Oct. 8; 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8; and 5:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, building 800, room 852.
• 9:30 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 25, and 7:30 p.m., Monday, Dec. 6, SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East, Center for Innovation & Technology; 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, and 5:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 8, SCF Lakewood Ranch, Medical Technology & Simulation Center.
