SCF Traffic Safety Institute to Offer Mature Driver Courses

(Bradenton, Fla., December 16, 2010) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Traffic Safety Institute will offer mature driver courses this spring.

Courses are held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the following locations:

• Wednesday, Jan. 26, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 18

• Wednesday, Feb. 16, at Sarasota-TSI, 1991 Main St., Ste. 123

• Thursday, Feb. 17 at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, building 800

• Wednesday, Feb. 23, SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. E.

The course requires that participants be 55 years of age or older and have a Florida driver license. Graduates of the course may submit the certificate of completion to their insurance company for a rate reduction. The fee is $15.
