Traffic Safety Institute Offers Classes for All Ages

(Bradenton, Fla., May 17, 2011) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Traffic Safety Institute (TSI) offers classes for all ages.

The Drug Alcohol Traffic Education (DATE) class required for first time driver license applicants covers traffic safety, Florida laws and critical substance abuse information. The DATE class is available online and at all SCF locations and at the Sarasota-TSI, 1991 Main St., Suite 123.

The TSI also offers the mature driver course, which requires that participants be 55 years of age or older and have a Florida driver license. Graduates of the course may submit the certificate of completion to their insurance company for a rate reduction. Ongoing classes are scheduled at all SCF locations and at Renaissance on 9th Street in Bradenton, 1816 9th St. West.
