Enrollment Open for Kids' Summer Spectrum

(Bradenton, Fla., May 26, 2011) - Registration is open for Kids' Summer Spectrum, a State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) summer camp for children ages 7 through 13 provided by Corporate and Community Development.

Morning sessions from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and afternoon sessions from 1-5 p.m. will be held Monday through Friday from June 13 – Aug. 12 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West and SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. East, Sarasota. Early morning drop off is available at both campuses for an additional fee.

A lively combination of fun and education, Kids' Summer Spectrum classes cover a variety of topics such as pillow art, jewelry design, safari, science, wedding planning, writing, dancing and cooking. Classes designed to give kids hands-on computer and technology experience are offered in engineering, blogging, clay animation, video game design and creative robotics.
