SCF Offers Online Training for Small Businesses
(Bradenton, Fla., June 2, 2011) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Small Business Development Center offers a series of online certificates and courses in business and marketing.
Interactive courses, which allow participants to communicate with instructors and other class participants, will be offered June 6 – July 1 and Sept. 6 – Sept. 30.
The following UGotClass courses will be offered:
• “Entrepreneur Boot Camp” identifies skills and knowledge needed for a successful entrepreneur. The course assists entrepreneurs in developing goals, creating an outline for a business plan, and learning techniques for business management.
• “Social Media for Business” covers tips on how to use social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more. Participants discover how to develop a two-way communication and marketing strategy and learn techniques to integrate social networks into their organization or business.
• “eMarketing Essentials“ helps business owners learn how to improve e-mail promotions, analyze website traffic, optimize search engines, and use online advertising successfully.
