SCF CCD to Offer Noncredit Technology Classes
(Bradenton, Fla., August 26, 2011) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer noncredit technology classes for professionals and adult learners this fall.
Designed for those interested in learning to write iPhone and iPad apps, the hands-on iPhone App Development Introduction course features basic Objective-C and the Cocoa Touch framework to give participants the knowledge needed to expand their skills. Classes are offered at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway, East, on Thursdays, Sept. 8 – Oct. 27, 6-9 p.m. The cost is $249.
The iPad Mobile Office class instructs participants to improve productivity through the use of mobile apps such as office suite, presentation programs and remote access. Classes are offered on Monday and Thursday, Sept. 12 – Sept. 22, from 6 - 9 p.m., and Monday and Thursday, Nov. 7 – Nov. 17, from 6 – 9 p.m., at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway, East. My PC Series, a continuing education program designed to support adults who want to learn new computer skills for home or work, will be offered this fall.

• Digital Photo Editing Workshop, 1– 4 p.m., Friday, Sept. 23, and 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, Nov. 30
• Connecting with Friends & Family Workshop, 9 a.m. – noon, Friday, Sept. 23, and 9 a.m.-noon, Wednesday, Nov. 2
