Information Sessions Scheduled for RN to B.S.N. Program at SCF
(Bradenton, Fla., October 5, 2011) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer information sessions for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program.
Students eligible for the RN to B.S.N. program must have completed prerequisite courses and have or obtain a Florida registered nurse license.
The program, which is currently offered as a combination of online and in class instruction, also will be offered completely online beginning January 2012.
Designed to allow registered nurses to complete their bachelor's degree locally in about 15 months, the program couples experience with advanced nursing education, preparing students for roles in leadership, management, and community and public health.
Hour-long information sessions for the blended and online program are scheduled at the following three campuses:
- 5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10, and Monday, Nov. 7, at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional
Parkway East, Medical Technology & Simulation Center, room 232
- 5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 17, and Wednesday, Nov. 30, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami

- 5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 29, room 106, and Monday, Nov. 14, at SCF Bradenton, building 29, room 139
