Leadership Manatee Participants Tour SCF Collegiate School

(Bradenton, Fla., October 7, 2011) — Participants in the 2011-2012 Leadership Manatee Program, cosponsored by the Manatee Chamber Foundation and the Kiwanis Club of Bradenton, toured the State College of Florida Collegiate School at SCF Bradenton on Wednesday, Oct. 5.

Joining the class was Jennifer LaHurd, SCF director of human resources operations, who has been accepted into the program that is designed to educate current and future leaders about Manatee County’s needs. The leadership training program selects individuals based on their leadership knowledge and long-term benefit to the community.

SCF President Dr. Lars A. Hafner and Dr. Mike Mears, SCF Bradenton provost, greeted the participants in the leadership program. Kelly Monod, SCFCS head of school, Dr. Cyndi Reynolds, academic administrator at SCFCS, and Denise Steverson, executive assistant to head of school, gave participants the tours.
