Information Sessions Scheduled for RN to B.S.N. Program at SCF
(Bradenton, Fla., February 3, 2012) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will offer information sessions for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program.
Students eligible for the RN to B.S.N. program must have completed prerequisite courses and have or obtain a Florida registered nurse license.
Designed to allow registered nurses to complete their bachelor's degree in 15 months, the program offers flexibility of enrolling in online courses or blended courses, which combine classroom instruction with online learning. The program couples experience with advanced nursing education, preparing students for roles in leadership, management, and community and public health.
Hour-long information sessions are scheduled at the following three campuses:
• 6 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, Wednesday, March 7, and Tuesday, April 10, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, building 29, room 143
• 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 24, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, building 800, room 843
• 6 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, Thursday, March 29, and Tuesday, April 17, at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway East, Medical Technology & Simulation Center, room 232.
