SBDC to Offer Small Business Workshop Feb. 16

(Bradenton, Fla., February 8, 2012) — The Small Business Development Center at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will host a free workshop, “Making Your Business Legal,” on Feb. 16, from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., at the North Sarasota Business Resource Center - “The Hive,” 2714 N. Osprey Ave., Sarasota.

Business owners will get advice on choosing the best legal entity for their businesses or determining whether to make changes to their existing designation.

The workshop will be led by Shelli Freeland-Eddie, Esq., a former Sarasota County prosecutor with seven years of criminal and civil litigation experience who has opened her own legal practice in north Sarasota. Her practice provides general legal representation with asset protection and small business support services.

Presented as part of a series offered by the SBDC at SCF, the workshop will be held in partnership with the City of Sarasota North Sarasota Entrepreneur Collaborative.
