Family Heritage House Museum Hosts Peace Corps Week Celebration

(Bradenton, Fla., February 9, 2012) - A celebration of Peace Corps Week will be held 2 – 3 p.m., Thursday, March 1, at the Family Heritage House Museum at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), 5840 26th St. West, Bradenton. This presentation is free and open to the public. Reservations are not needed.

Kristen Anderson, SCF College Reach-Out Program director; Matthew Keirle, SCF natural sciences assistant professor; Robert Donovan, retired SCF professor and department chair; and Anita Rogers, former museum specialist, will share their experiences as Peace Corps volunteers in Niger, Brazil, Paraguay and Afghanistan.
