SCF Now Offers Scooters for Rider Training Program
(Bradenton, Fla., February 21, 2012) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Continuing and Community Education is now providing scooters for participants to use in the Florida Rider Training Program (FTRP) at SCF Bradenton and SCF Venice.
Throughout the years, retailers have supported the program by loaning motorcycles and providing participant discounts on riding gear and other supplies. Suzuki of Sarasota is the newest supporter of the SCF motorcycle program by loaning four scooters to the program.
“With ever-increasing interest in scooters, SCF can now provide a convenient way for participants to train without having to haul their own scooters to campus,” said Cindy Hunter, director of continuing and community education.
The program is offered through noncredit division of Corporate & Community Development. Day, evening and weekend courses at SCF Bradenton and SCF Venice include the Basic Rider Course, Experienced Rider Course, Introductory Motorcycle Experience, Group Riding Seminar and Girlz Garage.
