Fine Art Gallery to Feature “SCF Embraces Differences 2012”
(Bradenton, Fla. May 17, 2012) — An opening reception for the exhibition “SCF Embraces Differences 2012” will be
held on Thursday, June 7, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the SCF Fine Art Gallery at SCF
Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West. Light refreshments will be served at the reception,
which is co-hosted by the SCF Fine Art Gallery, SCF Diversity/Multicultural Awareness
Committee and SCF Collegiate School.
The exhibition will feature five quotations by SCF students and staff that were selected
by “Embracing Our Differences 2012,” a slideshow of additional quotations from SCF
that were submitted to the competition and artwork by SCF Collegiate School students.
SCF Collegiate School students will display the following artwork: “We are All Together,
But Apart,” Damien Bobrek; “Pieces of Inside,” Rayhanah Waldin; “We Need Each Other,”
Riley Goerg; “Be Unique,” Elizabeth Cahill; “Respect,” Angelique Winters; “Social
Tolerance,” Julie Cardinale; and “Star of Peace,” Stephanie Stivers.
The exhibit runs from June 7 -20 and August 15- September 12. Gallery hours are Monday
