SCF to Host Lunch and Learn Series for Small Businesses in North Port
(Bradenton, Fla., May 29, 2012) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with the City of North Port, will host a free Lunch and Learn workshop, “Marketing on a Shoestring. Really?” from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, at North Port City Hall, 4970 City Hall Blvd., North Port.
At the workshop, Gayle Williams from Vision Marketing in Sarasota will give business owners advice about how to use low-cost strategies to market their businesses.
After nearly 30 years of experience in nonprofit and university administration, marketing, development, programming and advertising, Williams began Vision Marketing in 2008. She has managed marketing and public relations campaigns for a variety of corporate and nonprofit organizations, developing successful strategies using both traditional and digital marketing tools.
This event is part of a series offered by SBDC at SCF that includes free monthly workshops designed to show business owners how to improve their business and stay competitive.
