SCF to Host Lunch and Learn Series for Small Businesses in North Port
(Bradenton, Fla., August 28, 2012) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with the City of North Port, will host a free Lunch and Learn workshop, “Cash is King!” from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 12, at North Port City Hall, 4970 City Hall Blvd., North Port.
Having enough cash is always a challenge for small businesses. This workshop is offered to help business owners manage their cash flow efficiently to meet the many demands on their cash resources.
The workshop will be presented by Denise Courtney and Nevenka Kovcic, assistant vice presidents and branch managers for Regions Bank. Courtney is a business development officer and an agricultural business banker with 17 years of experience in the financial world. Kovcic has considerable experience in banking as a branch manager, commercial lender and credit underwriter.
This event is part of a series offered by SBDC at SCF that includes free monthly workshops designed to show business owners how to improve their business and stay competitive.
