SCF Symphony Orchestra to Present Concert

(Bradenton, Fla., September 14, 2012) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Symphony Orchestra will present a concert at 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, in Neel Performing Arts Center at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West.

The "Dial M for Murder" theme includes music by Mozart, Mussorgsky, Mascagni and Mouret, as well as “Funeral March of a Marionette” and music from the “Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” Guest Robert Moore from the Sarasota Orchestra will perform “Mozart's Concerto No. 3 for Horn” accompanied by the SCF Symphony Orchestra.

Conducted by Robyn Wilkes, director of instrumental studies, the SCF Symphony Orchestra is comprised of students pursuing a variety of fields including music, nursing, engineering, teaching and various other professions.
