SCF to Host Lunch and Learn Series for Small Businesses in North Port
(Bradenton, Fla., October 4, 2012) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Small Business Development Center
(SBDC), in partnership with the City of North Port, will host a free Lunch and Learn
workshop, “Facebook? Twitter? Blog?” from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 10,
at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee, 5920 Pan American Blvd., North
The workshop, which covers how to use Facebook, Twitter and blogs for marketing, will be presented by Rich Odato, president of Odato Marketing Group, an advertising, public relations and Internet marketing firm operating in Sarasota, Fla. and Pittsburgh, Pa.
Odato Marketing Group serves companies ranging from innovative startups to national market leaders in healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, education and consumer brands.
Odato began his career as a journalist before working in marketing communications.
Prior to starting his company, he managed public relations, marketing and brand development
for Sarasota Memorial Healthcare System and Pittsburgh Mercy Health System where he
won a “Best of the Web” recognition.
This event is part of a series offered by SBDC at SCF that includes free monthly workshops designed to show business owners how to improve their business and stay competitive.
