SCF to Host Lunch and Learn Series for Small Businesses in North Port
(Bradenton, Fla., November 5, 2012) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with the City of North Port, will host a free Lunch and Learn workshop, “Manage Your Financials, Manage Your Success” from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, at North Port City Hall, 4970 City Hall Blvd., North Port.
At the workshop, participants will learn how understanding their financial statements, including budgets, balance sheets and profit and loss statements, will help them build their businesses’ success.
The workshop will be presented by Certified Public Accountant Mark Klingel. Klingel heads a full service accounting
firm in North Port. He has more than 10 years of experience providing accounting services
to businesses and individuals who want to keep their money safe. Klingel offers small-business
financial consulting with an emphasis on maximum profits and minimum taxes. He provides
audits for nonprofit organizations and state and local government accounting.
This event is part of a series offered by SBDC at SCF that includes free monthly workshops designed to show business owners how to improve their business and stay competitive.
