In 2010, she led AFC's Haitian relief effort, raising funds and collecting donations at the statewideconvention as well as regional and membership conferences held throughout the year. She also was the recipient of the Leadership Service Award in 2011.
As SCF's AFC chapter president, DiTaranto organized SCF's donations to the 2012 AFC Service Project, which benefited Ready for Life Pinellas, an organization that assists youth who are aging out of the Florida foster care system.
DiTaranto came to SCF 16 years ago and has served in various positions until she was promoted to her current position as adjunct coordinator.
