SCF Venice to Offer Noncredit Spring 2013 Classes
(Bradenton, Fla., December 17, 2012) - StateCollege of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota's (SCF) Corporate and Community Development Division (CCD) will offer noncredit courses this spring at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail.
SCF's noncredit division offers an array of courses, including online, for those seeking professional development, personal enrichment or advice for starting or growing their own businesses.
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at SCF is a hub for providing new and existing businesses with low- to no-cost information, training, counseling services and workshops at convenient locations. SBDC will offer Spring 2013 entrepreneur courses on bookkeeping, marketing, business planning and Women/Minority and Service Disabled Veteran Certification. Visit scf.edu/SBDC.
Professional development classes at SCF include a broad array of courses for beginners and advanced computer users in programs such as PhotoShop, QuickBooks, Excel and Word. Visit scf.edu/CCDcomputers.
Weekend and weekday motorcycle courses for beginners and Friday classes for experienced riders will be offered this spring. Visit scf.edu/motorcycle.
Other courses on topics including parenting, divorce, retirement and foreign languages also will be held at SCF Venice.
