SCF Student Art Exhibition Winners Named
(Bradenton, Fla., May 1, 2013) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) art, design, humanities department has announced winners of the 2012-2013 SCF Student Art Exhibition. Student winners were presented with cash awards and certificates.
SCF Bradenton student winners were Perla Garcia, President's Award; Emre Özgener, Best in Show; and Danielle Dygert, Juror's Choice Award. Dygert also won third place in two-dimensional design. Additional two-dimensional design winners were Andrew Garrett, first place, and Brittany McCracken, second place.
Three-dimensional design winners were Marlis Paul, first place; Celeste Amicay, second place; and Leah Pearson, third place. Photography winners included Alex Rollini, first place; Chelsea Dollar, second place; and Patricia Henderson-Kellar, third place. Graphic Design winners were Tristen Walsh, first place; Chelsea Dollar, second place; and John DiLouie, third place.
At SCF Venice, Susan Luck Perkins won the Juror's Choice Award for "Frankenberry."
Students also won first place awards in the following categories: Sunsearay McDaniel, "End of Day's Reflection," photography; Christopher Parisi, "Life of Pi," graphic design; Evan Lamar, "Sun Burst," two-dimensional design; and Elizabeth Ramos, "Dual," three-dimensional design.
