SBDC at SCF to Host Small Business Lunch and Learn June 12
(Bradenton, Fla., May 10, 2013) — The Small Business Development Center at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), in partnership with the city of North Port and the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce, will host the third workshop in the Small Business Lunch and Learn monthly series.
The next workshop, "Putting Your Face on Facebook," will be held 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, at the University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee at North Port, 5920 Pan American Blvd., North Port.
Best-selling author and social media expert Tamara Patzer of Total Audience Market Immersion (TAMI) Online Social Media Marketing LLC will address how business owners can use Facebook to help their businesses grow. Patzer will give step-by-step instructions on how to create a page for one of the businesses at the workshop. Patzer is dedicated to helping businesses use powerful new online and mobile marketing platforms to get visibility, traffic, leads, customers and raving fans.
Lunch will be provided at no cost by the program's sponsors Sarasota Memorial Healthcare and Coastal Quality Services.
The workshops are designed to show business owners how to improve their businesses and stay competitive. Additional workshops will be held on Wednesdays at 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the following dates:
