SCF to Offer Small Business Marketing Workshop June 19
(Bradenton, Fla., June 3, 2013) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Small Business Development Center (SBDC), in partnership with the city of Sarasota and Comerica Bank, will host a free Small Business Marketing Workshop at 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 19, at Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34th St., Sarasota. A light lunch will be provided.
The workshop, "Love the Customers You Already Have," will be led by Peter Anderson, branch manager for Regions Bank, who has more than 20 years of financial services experience. He will discuss the importance of excellent customer service for every business.
Anderson, a Sarasota resident for 18 years, is actively involved in the community. He was co-chair of Giving Hunger the Blues, an annual charity event that has raised more than $1 million to fund two All Faiths Food Bank programs including Kids Café and the BackPack Kids Program. He also has served as a mentor for Big Brothers Big Sisters for nearly six years.
