Still Time to Enroll in Kids’ Summer Spectrum

(Bradenton, Fla., June 18, 2013) – There is still time to enroll in Kids' Summer Spectrum, a State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) summer camp provided by Corporate and Community Development for children ages 7 through 15.

Morning sessions from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. and afternoon sessions from 1:30 – 5 p.m. are held Monday - Friday through Aug. 9 at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. West, and SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. East, Sarasota; sessions at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail., will be held from June 24 – 28 and July 22 – 26 only. Early morning drop-off is available at SCF Bradenton and SCF Lakewood Ranch for an additional fee.

A lively combination of fun and education, Kids' Summer Spectrum classes cover a variety of topics such as puppetry, jewelry design, safari, science, gross chemistry, writing, dancing and cooking. Hands-on computer and technology classes for kids ages 10-15 are offered in engineering, blogging, clay animation, video game design and creative robotics at SCF Venice and SCF Lakewood Ranch.
