SCF Studio 84 Productions to Present “Bright Ideas”

(Bradenton, Fla., October 1, 2013) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Studio 84 Productions will present “Bright Ideas” at 8 p.m. Friday - Saturday, Oct. 4-5; Monday, Oct. 7; and Friday-Saturday, Oct. 11-12, in the David S. & Anne V. Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., building 11 W. A matinee performance is scheduled at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13.

In “Bright Ideas,” Genevra and Joshua are one fatal dinner party away from the ultimate success as parents: getting their 3-year-old son off the waiting list and finally enrolled in the right preschool.

Written by Eric Coble and directed by Dean Anthony, the production’s cast includes SCF students Jade Turner, Jason Ellis, Alexandra Cowan, Jordan Dixon, Maria Pederson, Dylan Buckley, Jaelynn Clark, Adam Condor, Mary Ellis, Belinda Velez and Molly Williford.

The play contains adult situations and language; audience discretion is advised.
