SCF Offers New Interactive Media Production Certificate
(Bradenton, Fla., January 7, 2014) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) art, design, humanities department now offers a new one-year Interactive Media Production Certificate that combines fundamental design skills with courses that address Web, interactivity and video effects.
The certificate program, which includes eight credit courses, is available to students
who enroll or are currently enrolled at SCF. It prepares students to design and build
websites, create basic animation for clients using the latest technology.
Real-world client scenarios familiarize students with client relations, contract standards, marketing and standout design.
The certificate benefits graphic design technology students who want to enhance their skills with Web, basic animation and video effects; designers who have been working in the field and want to expand their client services; and computer science majors who would like to complement their technical education with design applications for a well-rounded resume and portfolio.
As a prerequisite for the certificate program, students are required to have a basic knowledge of Adobe software.
