Fall Term Began Aug. 18
Add/Drop Continues Through Aug. 23
(Bradenton, Fla., August 14, 2014) — Fall term classes began Monday, Aug. 18, at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF). Admission information is available on SCF's website at scf.edu/Admissions. The deadline for students to add or drop classes that begin Aug. 18-23 with a refund is midnight Saturday, Aug. 23.
Flex start options include 12-week classes that begin Sept. 15 and eight-week classes that begin Oct. 13.
Programs leading to Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees and Certificates are offered. Visit scf.edu/academics. SCF also offers select workforce baccalaureate degrees. More information is available at scf.edu/bachelors.
Day and evening classes are held at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.; SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail; SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. E.; and online at scf.edu.
Associate-level tuition and fees are $102.48 per credit hour, and baccalaureate-level tuition and fees are $113.64 per credit hour for Florida residents.
Other important Fall term dates include:
- Friday, Aug. 15, last day for submission of residency documentation for Fall term; last day for new student orientations for Fall 2014 classes starting Aug. 18-23.
- Sunday, Aug. 17, deadline to pay any tuition and fee balances not covered by financial aid; Saturday, Aug. 23, (online until 11:59 p.m.) last day for students to add/drop classes that began Aug. 18-23 with a refund. No refunds after Aug. 24.
- Friday, Sept. 5, last day to submit an application for Fall 2014 commencement.
