SCF Testing Center to Offer Paralegal/Legal Assisting Certification Examination
(Bradenton, Fla., August 28, 2014) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) will administer the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) Certified Legal Assistant/Paralegal (CLA/CP) examination in September on Mondays and Tuesdays, noon-6 p.m., and Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. E.
The NALA CLA/CP certification, a nationally recognized certification for legal assistants and paralegals, is acknowledged by the legal community as a sign of professionalism and competence.
SCF also will offer the online Certified Paralegal Examination Review Course Oct. 13-Dec. 11 for participants who are interested in getting a general overview of the various disciplines in law or are preparing for the NALA CLA/CP examination.
Offered as a noncredit or credit class, the eight-week course covers every area of law tested by NALA in the certification exam with an emphasis on online testing and memoranda writing.
