Venice Kiwanis Club Hosts Salute to Veterans Breakfast to Benefit SCF Foundation

(Venice, Fla., October 17, 2014) — The Kiwanis Club of Venice will host a Salute to Veterans Breakfast to benefit the SCF Foundation Veterans Scholarship Fund 7:30-9 a.m. on Veterans Day, Tuesday, Nov. 11, at  the American Legion NO-VEL Post 159, 1770 E. Venice Ave., Venice.

Breakfast, which includes pancakes, sausage, muffins, fruit, juice, coffee and tea, will be served by Kiwanis volunteers.

Tickets are $20 each. They can be purchased at the American Legion NO-VEL Post 159, 1770 E. Venice Ave. at the bar; Adam R. Miller, 218 Harbor Dr. S., Venice; Kanetsky Moore & De Boer Law Firm, 227 Nokomis Ave S. on the isle; SCF Venice, 8000 S. Sarasota Kiwanis Club Hosts Veterans Day Breakfast to Benefit SCF Foundation

(Sarasota, Fla., October 17, 2014) — The Sarasota Kiwanis Club will host a Veterans Day Breakfast to benefit the SCF Foundation Veterans Scholarship Fund and the Sarasota Kiwanis Foundation 7-9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11, at Robarts Arena, 3000 Ringling Blvd., Sarasota.

Retired U.S. Marine Corps Lt. Col. Jack Carter will be the keynote speaker at the event, which includes a full program saluting veterans from all branches of the U.S. military.

SCF President Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld and U.S. Marine Corps veteran Christopher Stough, the past president of the SCF Venice chapter of the Student Veterans of America who created the SCF Veterans Scholarship Fund, also will be featured speakers.
