S-One Holdings Corporation Donates Printer to SCF Art, Design, Humanities Department

(Bradenton, Fla., June 18, 2015) – Sarasota, Fla.-based S-One Holdings Corporation, a global industry leader in large-format printing media and supplies, has donated a printer to the State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Art, Design, Humanities Department.

During a tour of the art building with SCF President Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld, Art Lambert, S-One president and CEO, noticed that the printer used for student art work had a capacity of only 24-inch prints. Since he’s in the business of large-format printers, Lambert told Probstfeld that S-One had a printer the company would like to donate that would expand the students’ print capacity to 36 inches.

“As a member of the business community, we feel strongly about supporting our local schools in a variety of ways, be it hosting fundraising events, offering internships or donating equipment to boost their productivity,” Lambert says. “It’s a great investment in the Sarasota area and for us as a company, as well, since we’ll likely be tapping into these bright young minds who may want to build a career with us in the future.”

“The students in the SCF art program have been given a great gift from S-One,” said Cassandra Holmes, executive director of the State College of Florida Foundation. “This printer allows for not only large-scale printing of their artwork, it also provides the ability to print on canvas or paper, which gives our students educational experience of seeing the difference in the medium used. It is a real treasure that we owe to our local business friends and partners. We are truly appreciative.”
