SCF to Offer Information Sessions on Nursing Degree

(Bradenton, Fla., July 30, 2015) — State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) offers information sessions about the Associate in Science in Nursing Degree program. Upcoming sessions:

  • Aug. 3: noon at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Building 29, Room 106
  • Aug. 4: 5 p.m. at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway E., MTSC Building, Room 205
  • Aug. 6: noon at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, Building 800, Room 852
  • Sept. 10: 11 a.m. at SCF Lakewood Ranch, MTSC, Room 205
  • Sept. 22: 11 a.m. at SCF Bradenton, Building 29, Room 157
  • Sept. 29: 5 p.m. at SCF Venice, Building 800, Room 852

An ASN degree can be achieved in two years (four semesters). These information sessions will discuss what you need to do to apply to the program, prerequisites needed, requirements of the program once admitted, etc.

Following each information session, there will be another session about the TEAS (Test of Essential Academic Skills) Entrance Exam. The TEAS is an ASN application requirement for the nursing program.
