Spring Term Begins Jan. 12

(Bradenton, Fla., January 5, 2015)  Spring term classes begin Monday, Jan. 12, at State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF).

The deadline for students to add or drop classes that begin Monday, Jan. 12, with a refund is by midnight Saturday, Jan. 17. Students can add or drop classes online by logging into their SCFconnect account at scf.edu/SCFconnect.

SCF also offers multiple flexible schedule options, including 12-week courses beginning Feb. 9 and eight-week courses beginning March 16. New students can submit applications for college admission up until the start of classes, and current and returning students can add credit classes to make faster progress toward a college degree.

Flex start and all other class schedules are available at scf.edu/ClassSchedules. Returning students may register online at SCFconnect. New students may enroll online at scf.edu/admissions.

Prospective students and parents are invited to learn more about SCF programs and services at upcoming Admission Express events from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W., Student Services, building 1, and SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, building 100. Admission Express events also will be held in Summer 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 9, at SCF Bradenton; SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Pkwy. E., Medical Technology and Simulation Center lobby; and SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, building 100.

Programs leading to Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees and Certificates are offered. Visit scf.edu/academics. SCF also offers select workforce baccalaureate degrees. More information is available at scf.edu/bachelors.
