U.S. Army Woodwind Quintet to Present Master Class and Concert at SCF

(Bradenton, Fla., Jan. 28, 2015) – The U.S. Army Woodwind Quintet will conduct a master class at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, and present a concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 12, in the Neel Performing Arts Center at State College of Florida (SCF) Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.

Founded in 1996, the quintet is one of the Army’s premiere chamber ensembles that entertains, educates and inspires.The concert will feature woodwind players from United States Army Field Band whose goal is to expose the next generation of musicians to professional standard performances and clinics. The Woodwind Quintet is a prime example of the Army Field Band’s ability to enrich a community through musical excellence and educational outreach. 

The events are free and open to the public.

The Neel is Building 11 East, off 60th Avenue West between 26th and 34th streets, accessible from parking lot I.
