SCF Venice to Host Lectures on Buddhism

(Bradenton, Fla., February 4, 2015) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Philosophy Club will host a three-part lecture series on Buddhism 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Feb. 10, 17 and 24, at SCF Venice, 8000 S. Tamiami Trail, in the Selby Room.

“Managing Stress: Buddhists’ Paths to Inner Calm” will be presented by Kelsang Tashi from the Kadampa Meditation Center (KMC). He is known for his joyful and gentle teachings, and his love for meditation and helping others has a positive impact on everyone he meets. He has dedicated himself in the service to others by supporting KMC Florida in many ways.
