SCF to Show “Big Hero 6” as Part of Sarasota Film Festival

(Bradenton, Fla., March 16, 2015) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Film Club will co-present the screening of the film “ Big Hero 6” as part of the Sarasota Film Festival’s Moonlight Movie event at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, in front of the performance pavilion at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.

“Big Hero 6,” inspired by the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name, tells the story of a young robotics prodigy who forms a superhero team to combat a masked villain. The movie, from Walt Disney Animation Studios, won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature on Feb. 22.

The film showing is free and open to the public. The public is invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable viewing.

In case of rain, event will be held in Neel Performing Arts Center.
