SCF and Bradenton Herald Plan Public Forum on Cyber Security

(Bradenton, Fla., April 15, 2015) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF), in partnership with the Bradenton/Lakewood Ranch Herald Editorial Board, will present a public forum in the Community Conversations series 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, in the Howard Studio Theatre at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W.

The forum will tackle the topic of cyber security and identity theft, and participants will have the opportunity to learn about Internet vulnerability and risk awareness from experts in information technology.

Conversations will be guided by SCF President Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld and Herald Editorial Page Editor Chris Wille. METV will record the forum for broadcast.

Panelists for the forum will include SCF experts, William Culver, assistant professor, business and technology, and Marc Baker, IT security administrator.
