Evening Under the Stars Sets Record Attendance at SCF Venice

(Bradenton, Fla., April 23, 2015) – The 27th annual Evening Under the Stars, “All You Need Is Love,” had a record attendance with nearly 2,200 people on the SCF Venice lawn Saturday, April 11.

The VIP area hosted the annual table decorating contest judged by guest emcee Bob Harrigan, ABC7 chief meteorologist; Bill Murphy, husband of SCF president Dr. Carol F. Probstfeld; and Ted Holmes, husband of SCF Foundation Executive Director Cassandra Holmes. First Place was won by Morgan Stanley Wood “Stockers.” Second Place went to Caldwell Trust Company, and Third Place went to Susan Schaefer and Insignia Bank.

The Edmund and Elizabeth Campbell Foundation was the Symphony Sponsor for the event.   Gold Sponsors included Bank of America, Gulf Coast Community Foundation, Turbine Weld and the Venice Gondolier. Silver Sponsors were the Farr Law Firm, Jennifer and Larry Saslaw, and Synovus Bank.
