Exporting to Mexico is Topic of Seminar at SCF

(Bradenton, Fla., April 23, 2015) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota (SCF) Department of Workforce Solutions will host a seminar on Exporting to Mexico 1-3 p.m. Friday, May 8.

The seminar, presented in partnership with the Bradenton Area Economic Development Corporation, Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, Enterprise Florida and the U.S. Commercial Service, will be held at SCF Lakewood Ranch, 7131 Professional Parkway E., Rooms 135-136. Cost is $35.

Ana Arroyo Vilanes, director of Enterprise Florida, Mexico, will discuss what Enterprise Florida can do to help companies conduct business in Mexico.

Carlos Diaz with World Direct Shipping will discuss how his company can help businesses export to Mexico. World Direct operates its own container ship to provide direct sea transport between Coatzacoalcos, Mexico, and Port Manatee.

In addition to the main speakers, a consolidator and customs broker will present real-time experiences on exporting to Mexico and how a customs broker can help.
