Register Now for SCF’s Spring Break Program for Kids

(Bradenton, Fla., Feb. 18, 2016) – State College of Florida, Manatee-Sarasota announces a spring break camp, Kids’ Spring Spectrum, an educational enrichment day camp offered at SCF by Corporate and Community Development (CCD) for children ages 7 to 13. Camp starts Monday, March 21, and runs through Friday, March 25, at SCF Bradenton, 5840 26th St. W. Morning sessions are 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. with lunch 12:30-1:30 p.m. (not provided/must bring) and afternoon sessions 1:30 to 5 p.m. Cost is $75 per student per session. Early morning drop-off is available for an additional fee.

A fun combination of activities and education, Kids' Spring Spectrum classes cover a variety of topics such as arts and crafts, cooking, clay creations, sports activities and more.

  • Morning Sessions: Arts and Crafts – learn fun crafts and work on a new project each day, from sand art to junk art and everything in between. Wide World of Sports – play a different sport each day from kickball to volleyball.
  • Afternoon Sessions: Budding Chefs – make a different, delicious food sample each day. Clay Creations – artwork that you make.
